Alkemi, the developers of Foretales, are releasing a new game called An Ankou, a top-down roguelike set in an alternative version of 19th century France. Players take on the role of a servant of Death, tasked with killing demons and guiding lost souls. The game features scavenging, crafting, necromancy, and intense combat. An Ankou will launch into early access next month, but a demo is available on Steam.
