Guerrilla Games Leverages PS5 Exclusivity for Horizon Forbidden West DLC

Guerrilla Games has revealed that making the upcoming Horizon Forbidden West expansion, Burning Shores, a PS5 exclusive has allowed the studio to get more out of the system. The highly detailed open world of a ruined Los Angeles requires a lot of processing power and fast streaming technology to run properly, which is only possible on the PS5. The expansion will be released in April and will see Aloy explore a post-post-apocalyptic version of Los Angeles, including several landmarks. Guerrilla is also planning to expand the world of Horizon with an online co-op project and a Horizon Zero Dawn remaster for PS5 is reportedly in development.
