Six months after its release, player interest in the popular game Hogwarts Legacy has significantly declined. Despite being the highest-selling game of 2023, the average player count has dropped from over 800,000 to around 6,800. The game's redundant RPG systems, monotonous combat, and lack of engaging content have contributed to the decline in player engagement. While there is still some activity on the game's subreddit, it mainly revolves around bug fixes and speculation about potential DLC, which the developer has stated there are no plans for. The game's lack of depth and repetitive gameplay have led to a decline in interest among players.
