Mexican metroidvania game Mariachi Legends, developed by Halberd Studios and published by Freedom Games, has surpassed its Kickstarter funding goal of $50,000, earning double the amount. The combat-oriented game is set in Mexico and follows the story of Pablo Cruz, a detective who transforms into the powerful La Sombra to fight against the Mariachi Legends gang. Players will explore non-linear levels, experience Mexican folklore, and enjoy a mariachi-inspired soundtrack while battling enemies and discovering the diverse flavors of Mexican cuisine.
