Larian Studios Shifts Focus Away from Baldur's Gate 3 to Develop Massive New RPG

Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke announced that the studio is done with Baldur’s Gate 3 and will not be creating any expansions or a sequel, as the company wants to focus on new projects and large ambitions. Additionally, Larian is moving on from Dungeons & Dragons, leaving it up to Wizards of the Coast to find someone else to take over the IP. While it's unclear what Larian's next project will be, fans can expect another RPG given the studio's track record.
