MultiVersus Fighting Game Shuts Down Until 2024, Disappointing Fans.

Warner Bros. Games and Player First have announced that MultiVersus open beta will be shutting down in 90 days and will return in early 2024. During this time, players will be unable to play online, and no new updates will be released. WB Games has no current plans to offer refunds. The game had become popular on Steam but received complaints about a lack of updates and new characters. The developers are shutting it down to make the game better and will rework the progression system based on feedback.
