Nintendo faces backlash over copyright strikes against Zelda: Breath of the Wild modders and YouTubers.

Nintendo has issued multiple copyright strikes and takedowns on videos by popular Zelda streamer and modder PointCrow, including ones related to his Breath of the Wild multiplayer mod. PointCrow has appealed these takedowns, claiming he was "in line with [Nintendo's] content guideline policies". He is concerned about any upcoming streams related to the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. PointCrow has voiced an "open letter" to Nintendo appealing its actions and asking them to remove the strikes and claims or at least start a dialogue with content creators. Other affected Zelda streamers have also expressed their disappointment with Nintendo's actions.
