Nintendo Promises Easy Transition to Next Console Using Player Accounts.

Nintendo's CEO has stated that the company is looking into making it easier for customers to transition from the Nintendo Switch to the next-generation console while using their Nintendo account. This could potentially allow current Nintendo Switch titles purchased through the eShop to be carried over to the next console. Unlike Sony and Microsoft, previous-generation Nintendo Wii U games did not carry over to the Switch, but Nintendo is considering making improvements for its future console.
