Nintendo's Return to Gamescom 2023: What to Expect.

Nintendo may reveal its holiday lineup and beyond at Gamescom in August, with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4 already released. The company may showcase already-released Switch titles, hold tournaments for games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 3, and push Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which are planned to get their first DLC expansions later this year. Metroid Prime 4 seems like the most likely next blockbuster game for Switch, but it's been a long time since it was announced. Nintendo Live was announced for September in Seattle, hinting that the company has unknown games expected to make a splash for the lucrative fall and holiday windows.
