TL;DR

The Smoliv Spotlight Hour in Pokémon GO is set for November 12th, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm local time, featuring a 2x XP bonus for evolving Pokémon. This event coincides with the debut of shiny Smoliv during the Harvest Festival. Players are encouraged to evolve low-cost Pokémon to maximize XP gains, especially with a lucky egg. Smoliv, a Grass and Normal-type Pokémon, is weak to several types and has a maximum CP of 965. While not particularly strong in PvP or raids, it offers a chance to collect shiny variants and earn extra candy with Mega Pokémon.
