"Revving Up the Ultimate Racing Game: Hero Programmers Introduce New Cars"

A fan-made mod called Project A-Spec is being released on Discord, adding new cars and events to the iconic racing game Gran Turismo 2, 24 years after its release. The mod includes dozens of additional cars from before 2000, maintaining the original aesthetic of the game. While no new tracks are added, new events such as one-make races and an endurance run are included. Project A-Spec will be playable on the PlayStation emulator Duckstation, and more features are planned for the future.
