Nintendo has added Tetris (NES) and Tetris DX (Game Boy Color) to its Switch Online service to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Tetris. Creator Alexey Pajitnov expressed gratitude to fans for their support over the years. This marks the first time Tetris for NES has been available since 1989, and Tetris DX, originally released in 1998, includes a multiplayer mode. Both games are now accessible on the platform.
