"The Finals: Cross-platform Open Beta Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S"

The Finals, a squad-based shooter developed by former Battlefield developers at Embark Studios, will enter open beta on October 26 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Console players will have their first opportunity to play the game and provide feedback on the console and gamepad experience, while PC players will have access to a new map and game mode. The open beta will also include a free battle pass with exclusive rewards. Embark Studios co-founders Patrick Söderlund and Rob Runnesson delayed their previous game, ARC Raiders, to prioritize The Finals, which has progressed faster than expected. The open beta will run until November 5.
