A player of the upcoming game Hogwarts Legacy accidentally used the transfiguration spell on their phoenix, the most valuable beast in the game, and received only two galleons in return. Other players have realized the potential of this as an infinite gold glitch, but it's not worth it as the phoenix is difficult to obtain and can't be bred. The release of the game has been controversial due to J.K. Rowling's stance on gender identity.
