Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Leak Causes Chaos for Nintendo and Fans Alike.

Nintendo is issuing takedowns against emulation tools and streams in an attempt to stop leaks of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The company issued a DMCA strike against Lockpick, a tool that allows users to dump decryption keys for games they already own from their own Switch console. Nintendo has also taken down leaked footage from online video platforms and suspended a streamer who was reacting to officially sanctioned footage of the game. The developers behind the Android Switch emulator Skyline have also abandoned the project in fear of potential legal ramifications.
