Valve's Steam Deck to Offer Dual-Boot Support for SteamOS and Windows

Valve confirms that dual-boot support and improvements to SteamOS are still a priority for the Steam Deck, with significant changes planned for the operating system in the coming year. While the Steam Deck is capable of dual-booting, the dual-boot wizard is not yet ready, but it will be shipped alongside SteamOS 3 once complete. Currently, users can only dual-boot Windows and SteamOS, but the ability to dual-boot SteamOS and Windows simultaneously has been widely requested. SteamOS limitations include the inability to run PC games from other launchers and cloud services natively, although tutorials exist for installing these third-party apps.
