PlayStation-controlled robot successfully conceives and delivers two human babies.

Engineers in Barcelona designed a robot that was used to successfully inject sperm into human eggs, leading to the birth of two baby girls. The robot was controlled using a PlayStation 5 controller and could be an essential step towards automated in vitro fertilization (IFV). Currently, IFV attempts can cost up to $20,000 in the United States, but an automated system could significantly lower the cost and increase accessibility. The startup behind this success, Overture, has raised more money towards its goals than any of the others in the industry.
