WoW Forever: Simpler Classes, Fixed Raid Options, and Honest Progression

BlizzCon 2026’s World of Warcraft: Forever reveals eight new details: at launch there won’t be wacky class combos like shaman tanks, raids will always offer at least a 10‑ and 20‑player option (no flex raiding), mount training costs are paid with gold to reflect effort, you still need a Warlock to summon party members (with Meeting Stones existing but not summoning), add-ons will be restricted similarly to retail, there’s no one‑button rotation, PvP progression uses honor with a new battleground lineup (including Darkspear Islands), and Forever is pitched as a lasting, level‑60, horizontally developed world with a legacy system to encourage alts and ongoing content.
