William “Bill” Brooks, 72, of Columbus, Nebraska, died July 5, 2026 in Omaha. Funeral services are planned with a visitation at McKown Funeral Home on July 9 from 5:00–7:00 p.m. and a 7:00 p.m. vigil, followed by a second visitation July 10 from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
