Google Assistant's Smart Home Silence

Google Assistant will now confirm turning on/off smart home devices with a pleasant chime instead of a verbal response, which was previously introduced for lights in 2019. This update will apply to outlets, switches, televisions, speakers, fans, blinds, and other smart home devices. The change is rolling out over the next few weeks and is based on feedback from the community and internal trials.
