Q Acoustics 3040c brings flagship tech to a compact, affordable floorstanding speaker

Q Acoustics’ 3040c is a compact floorstanding model in the 3000c line that brings the brand’s performance and tech from the 3000c line and Concept series to a smaller footprint. It uses the C3 Continuous Curved Cone, a floating hermetically sealed tweeter with a vented inner chamber to reduce distortion and improve driver integration, plus Point to Point bracing and Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser tubes to refine frequency response. The cabinet retains Q Acoustics’ curved minimalist look and comes in four finishes, with UK pricing at £599 and US pricing at $1,099; it’s available in the UK now and due in the US in October. It sits below the 3050c but aims to deliver similar performance in a more compact form factor.
