Apple has announced new features for its Safari browser, including the ability to lock browser windows, block trackers, and remove URL trackers. Safari can also share passwords and passkeys to groups using iCloud Keychain. The new addition is the ability to create profiles, which will help keep data and trackers separate for work and personal browsing. Apple is also refocusing on WebApps, allowing developers to take advantage of a new Add to Dock feature. Safari is built on top of the WebKit engine, which is also getting a whole lot of under-the-hood updates.
