Google's AI chatbot Bard expands globally, but not in the EU.

Google has made its AI-powered chatbot Bard available in 180 countries and territories, but the European Union is not included in the list. The company has not commented on why the EU has been left out, but it is likely waiting for the finalisation of the EU’s AI Act before unleashing Bard across the continent. Bard has been trained in 20 programming languages and is powered by Google’s newest large language model, PaLM2. Google also introduced a range of new features to the chatbot, including the ability to create images using Adobe’s AI art generator Firefly.
