Tragic Florida Helicopter Crash Claims Two Lives in Apartment Building

Two people were killed and several others injured when a medical rescue helicopter crashed into an apartment building near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The helicopter had an engine failure shortly after being dispatched to a scene in North Lauderdale. One person aboard the helicopter and one person on the ground were killed, while two others on the ground and two crew members were taken to the hospital. The crash caused significant damage to the apartment building.
