Armed man arrested outside Trump's California golf club amid security probe

An armed man was arrested outside Trump National Golf Club in Southern California as federal investigators probed whether he posed a threat to President Donald Trump. The 38-year-old Jeanine Taele of Downey was detained while taking photos and monitoring security preparations, and faces charges of carrying a concealed firearm and possessing prohibited ammunition after investigators recovered an illegally modified AR-style rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, body armor, high-capacity magazines and notebooks. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Secret Service are assisting, officials said there is no credible threat at this time, and the case remains under investigation ahead of Trump’s planned appearance at a GOP event at the Rancho Palos Verdes course.
