Arrest Made in Series of Los Angeles Homeless Murders

A suspect, identified as Jerrid Joseph Powell, has been arrested in connection with four fatal shootings that occurred in the Los Angeles area over a four-day period. The victims included three homeless men who were shot while sleeping on the streets. Powell was already in custody for another homicide involving a follow-home robbery. His vehicle and a handgun recovered from it were linked to all three homeless homicides, as well as the home robbery shooting. The motive for the killings is still unknown, and authorities are investigating whether Powell may be connected to other cases.
