Author's 'cursed' mansion at center of alleged murder.

Utah children's book author, Kouri Richins, allegedly killed her husband, Eric Richins, with fentanyl amid financial disagreements over a $3.75 million mansion they were both interested in. Kouri closed the deal on the mansion a day after Eric's death, despite his family's belief that he planned to tell her not to purchase it. The mansion, which has been under construction since 2017, has been described as "cursed" by some. Kouri is also in a legal battle with Eric's sister over the ownership of her home and was sued by two tenants for unlivable conditions.
