California Teen Rescued After 4-Day Kidnapping Ordeal for $500,000 Ransom

A 17-year-old California teenager was rescued after being kidnapped for four days by a group who demanded a $500,000 ransom from his family. The kidnappers orchestrated a situation where the teen crashed into their vehicle, and then forcibly took him. The captors demanded the ransom and threatened to harm the victim if it wasn't paid. Investigators tracked the suspects to a motel in Santa Maria using a Facebook marketplace post and Ring camera video. The victim was found in a motel room along with three suspects, who were arrested and charged with kidnapping. The family did not pay the ransom.
