Deadly Shooting at Texas Mall Leaves Multiple Victims

A gunman shot and killed eight people, including children, at a mall in Allen, Texas. The police shot and killed the gunman, who acted alone. At least seven people are being treated in hospital, three of whom are critically ill. The victims' ages range from 5 to 51. Texas Governor Greg Abbott described the shooting as an "unspeakable tragedy." There have been at least 198 mass shootings in the US so far this year.
