Christian Ziegler, the Florida GOP Chair and husband of Moms for Liberty co-founder Bridget Ziegler, is under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman who claims to have been involved in a long-term sexual relationship with both of the Zieglers. The woman alleges that Ziegler raped her on October 2, and police have executed a search warrant on his phone, where he is alleged to have recorded sexual encounters. Ziegler denies any wrongdoing and his attorney states that he will be exonerated. This is the second sex-related scandal to hit Moms for Liberty, a far-right activist group, in recent weeks. The Florida Democratic Party has called for Ziegler's resignation.
