Florida Man Convicted of Murdering Wife for Rejecting Home Renovation Show

A Florida man, David Tronnes, has been found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of his wife, Shanti Cooper-Tronnes, after she refused to appear on a home renovation reality TV show. Tronnes had spent thousands of dollars on renovations and hoped to be featured on the show, leading to marital problems. The victim was killed in their home, and Tronnes attempted to clean up the crime scene. Autopsy results confirmed the homicide, and Tronnes showed little remorse during his interrogation. He has been sentenced to life in prison.
