Lori Vallow Receives Life Sentence for Murders of Her Children

Lori Vallow has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murders of her two children, 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow. She was also found guilty of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of her husband Chad Daybell's first wife, Tamara "Tammy" Daybell. Vallow's religious beliefs were examined during the trial, where she claimed to have been in contact with the "spirit world." The children were last seen in September 2019 and their remains were found on Chad's property in June 2020. Chad Daybell has pleaded not guilty and will be tried separately.
