Manhattan DA to charge Daniel Penny in Jordan Neely subway death

Former US Marine, Daniel Penny, will be charged with manslaughter for causing the death of Jordan Neely, a homeless man, after placing him in a chokehold on the New York City subway. The incident was captured on mobile phone footage and sparked protests across the city. Witnesses said Mr Neely was acting aggressively towards other subway passengers, but he had not physically attacked anyone before Mr Penny put him in a chokehold. Mr Neely's family said that Mr Penny "needs to be in prison".
