Mass shooting at St. Louis party leaves 1 dead and 10 injured.

One person was killed and 10 others were injured in a shooting at a party in a downtown St. Louis office building. Eight of the 11 victims were minors, and the deceased victim was identified as a 17-year-old boy. The suspect in custody is a 17-year-old male who lives outside of St. Louis. The social gathering was organized through social media direct messaging platforms, and the attendees' access to the office building is unknown. St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones attributed the shooting to Missouri's "lax" gun laws, including the state legislature's decision to continue allowing minors to carry firearms.
