New Mexico Police Fatally Shoot Homeowner at Wrong Address Caught on Video

Body camera footage released by the Farmington Police Department shows that officers realized they were at the wrong address just moments before fatally shooting Robert Dotson, an armed homeowner, and exchanging gunfire with his wife. The officers were responding to a domestic violence report but arrived at the wrong house. Dotson's wife, who fired in the direction of officers, has not been charged with a crime. The involved officers have been placed on paid leave while the state police investigate the incident.
