Ohio Police Release Bodycam Footage of Fatal Shooting of Pregnant Woman

Ohio police have released bodycam footage showing an officer shooting and killing Ta'Kiya Young, a pregnant mother of two, after she refused to leave her car and accelerated towards the officer. The video shows officers repeatedly ordering Young to exit her vehicle, accusing her of theft. As she accelerates towards the officer, he fires a single shot through her windshield. Young's car eventually crashes into a grocery store. Both Young and her unborn child did not survive. The family is seeking a criminal indictment of the officers, claiming that her death was avoidable and a misuse of power. The officers are currently on paid administrative leave while the incident is being investigated.
