Rescued: Kidnapped Girl's 'Help Me!' Sign Leads to Safe Return

A 13-year-old girl who was kidnapped in Texas and sexually assaulted was rescued in California after witnesses spotted her holding up a sign that said "Help Me!" from inside a parked car. The suspect, 61-year-old Steven Robert Sablan, was arrested and charged with kidnapping and transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. The girl was abducted at gunpoint and sexually assaulted multiple times during a two-day drive from Texas to California. Good Samaritans saw the sign and called 911, leading to her rescue. Sablan faces life in prison if convicted.
