Teen Rescued After 4-Day Kidnapping Ordeal in Southern California

A 17-year-old boy was rescued by authorities in Southern California after being kidnapped and held hostage for four days. The captors demanded a $500,000 ransom from the boy's family and threatened to harm him if it was not paid. Law enforcement tracked the victim and the three kidnappers to a motel in Santa Maria using a Facebook Marketplace posting and doorbell camera footage. The captors, charged with kidnapping, could face life in prison if convicted. The boy was found unharmed, and the family did not pay the ransom.
