Tragic Death of Las Vegas High School Student: 8 Teens Arrested for Fatal Beating

Eight teenagers, aged 13 to 17, have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the fatal beating of a 17-year-old student near a Las Vegas high school. The victim, Jonathan Lewis, was attacked by a group of at least 10 individuals who punched, kicked, and stomped on him. The beating, which occurred on November 1, resulted in Lewis being declared brain-dead on November 7. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma. The suspects, who have not been publicly identified due to their age, were arrested with the assistance of the FBI. Two additional individuals involved in the attack remain unidentified, and the police plan to release video footage in hopes of identifying them. The fight is believed to have been sparked by a dispute over stolen headphones and a marijuana vape pen.
