Tragic NYC Stabbing Claims Massachusetts Activist's Life

An 18-year-old man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing and killing a 32-year-old Massachusetts native and activist, Ryan Carson, in an unprovoked attack in Brooklyn, New York City. Carson, a campaign organizer for the New York Public Interest Research Group, was stabbed multiple times in the chest while trying to de-escalate the situation. The suspect, identified as Brian Dowling, was arrested and charged with murder. Carson's family is bringing his body back to Massachusetts, and Mayor Eric Adams has vowed to bring the perpetrator to justice.
