Wedding Massacre: Groom's Deadly Rampage Claims Bride and Four Others

A decorated Thai para-athlete, Chaturong Suksuk, shot and killed his bride, Kanchana Pachunthuek, along with four other people at their wedding reception in northeastern Thailand before turning the gun on himself. The victims included the bride's mother, younger sister, and a guest. Chaturong had an argument with his bride before retrieving a gun from his car and opening fire. The exact motive remains unclear, but Chaturong was reportedly intoxicated at the time. Mass shootings are rare in Thailand, but gun ownership is common in the country.
