'Barbie' Fails to Outshine 'Haunted Mansion' at Box Office

Barbie continues to dominate the box office, earning an estimated $93 million in its second weekend and bringing its domestic total to $351.4 million. The film is also performing well overseas, with a global total of over $750 million. Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan's film Oppenheimer is also holding strong in its second weekend, grossing $46.2 million and reaching a global total of $400.4 million. Disney's Haunted Mansion had a disappointing debut, opening to $24.2 million, while Angel Studios' Sound of Freedom continues to perform well with a domestic total of $149 million. Paramount's Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One and A24's Talk to Me round out the top five at the box office.
