Drew Barrymore's talk show, "The Drew Barrymore Show," is set to resume production amid the ongoing Hollywood writers' and actors' strikes. The Writers Guild of America (WGA) plans to picket outside the show's taping in New York City. Barrymore took responsibility for the decision to continue filming, stating that her show is in compliance with not discussing or promoting struck film and television. The WGA East called upon its members to demonstrate outside the CBS Broadcast Center, where the show is taped, as it is considered a struck show returning without its writers. Other daytime talk shows have also been taping new episodes during the strikes, while some have been airing reruns.
