Despite discussing intimate parts of her life in the book, Fox explained that their short-lived relationship was not focused on sex. She changed her exes' names in the book to protect their privacy and expressed that she didn't want to ruin people's lives. Fox briefly dated West in early 2022 and later alleged that she only dated him to distract him from his messy divorce with Kim Kardashian. The memoir is set to be released on October 10.
