The documents revealed that Blackstock earned $1.98 million in commissions for Clarkson's role on The Voice, while his commission for her hosting duties at the Billboard Music Awards was only $93.30. Despite the ruling, Blackstock plans to appeal. The legal drama is part of the ongoing divorce between Clarkson and Blackstock, which was finalized in March 2022. Clarkson secured the Montana ranch in the settlement and was ordered to pay Blackstock $1.3 million and provide monthly child and spousal support.
