"Unpacking the Season 3 Premiere of 'Abbott Elementary'"
TL;DR
The Season 3 premiere of "Abbott Elementary" was delayed due to last year's WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, resulting in a 14-episode season focusing on the latter half of the school year. The writers creatively explained the mid-year start by having the documentary crew's equipment stolen, allowing them to address lingering storylines from Season 2 while introducing new developments. The episode also delved into the relationship between Janine and Gregory, and featured notable guest stars.
