"Diablo 4 Season 1: Release Date, Broken Builds, Scary Quests, and More"

Diablo IV Season 1, starting on July 20, will introduce Malignant enemies and Caged Hearts that can be socketed into gear to create powerful, "stupid broken builds." There are 32 new Malignant powers in three different colors, allowing for customization. The season will also feature a side questline and a battle pass system with cosmetic rewards and a currency called Smoldering Ash. Additionally, a new patch will allow Unique items to drop from Helltide chests, and Diablo Immortal will receive a new vampire-themed class on July 13.
