Blizzard has announced that Diablo 4 Season 1, titled Season of the Malignant, will be released on July 20. The update will introduce a new quest line, featuring new characters and enemies, as well as the first Season Journey and Battle Pass. Players will face a dangerous new threat in the form of Malignant Monsters, which can be defeated by trapping their Malignant Hearts. The update will also bring new builds, a new boss monster, legendary and unique items, and more. The Season Journey will consist of seven chapters with multiple objectives, offering rewards such as Favor for the battle pass. Diablo 4 will continue to evolve and expand with two confirmed expansions and a roadmap.
