Multiple Injuries and Tragedy Strike Oklahoma High School Football Game Shooting

A retired teacher from Choctaw Middle School, Vicky Pruitt, sheltered dozens of students at her home during a fatal shooting at a high school football game. As students frantically ran towards her house, Pruitt offered them water, a cell phone to call home, and a safe place to stay. She was joined by other neighbors who also opened their doors and homes to the students. Pruitt expressed her anger and disbelief at the shooting but also pride in her community's response during a time of need.
