US Air Force Member Self-Immolates Outside Israeli Embassy in Washington DC

An active-duty US Air Force member set himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington DC, shouting "Free Palestine" as he burned. The man sustained critical, life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The Washington police department, Secret Service, and other authorities are investigating the incident, which also involved concerns about a suspicious vehicle. This is not the first self-immolation incident in front of an Israeli diplomatic mission in the US.
